Image16x9 is a fast, free, browser-based 16:9 image converter. We keep cookies and storage minimal—no ads, no login sessions, and no payment flows. This page explains what we store on your device and how you can control it.

What we store

• Language preference (NEXT_LOCALE): Remembers the locale you select so pages load in your language.
• Interface preference (sidebar_state): Remembers whether certain layouts are expanded or collapsed where that control exists.
• Optional analytics cookies: Only set when we enable privacy-focused analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Umami, Plausible, Ahrefs, DataFast, OpenPanel, Seline, Clarity, or Vercel Analytics). These help us understand aggregate traffic and improve performance; we do not use them for advertising.

What we do not set

• No authentication, subscription, or payment cookies—the product is free and login-free.
• No advertising or social media tracking cookies.

Local storage

We may store theme, layout, or converter settings in your browser's local storage to keep your preferences on the same device. These values stay in your browser and are not sent to our servers.

Managing cookies
