Image16x9 lets you convert a picture to a 16:9 widescreen format directly in your browser. No signup, no watermark, and no payments. We design the tool so your images stay on your device. This policy explains what limited information we handle and why.
- Images you convert: Files you upload or drop into the tool are processed locally in your browser. We do not store or inspect them on our servers. If you provide an image URL, we temporarily proxy the file to deliver it back to you and then discard it.
- Device and connection data: Our hosting platform may log IP addresses, browser types, and error details to keep the service secure and reliable.
- Optional analytics: In production we may enable analytics (Google Analytics, Umami, Plausible, Ahrefs, DataFast, OpenPanel, Seline, Clarity, or Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate usage such as page views, device types, and performance. These tools do not give us the contents of your photos.
- Support emails: If you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can reply.
- Provide and improve the 16:9 converter and website experience
- Diagnose performance issues and protect the service from abuse
- Respond to support requests
- Produce anonymous statistics about site usage
- We do not require accounts, passwords, or payment details.
- We do not sell or rent personal data or use advertising pixels.
See our Cookie Policy. We set minimal cookies for language and UI preferences; analytics cookies are only set if enabled.
- Images stay in your browser memory; proxied image data is discarded after the request completes.
- Server logs are kept for short periods consistent with our hosting provider's defaults.
- Support emails are retained as long as needed to address your request.
We rely on hosting and analytics providers listed above and on email providers to deliver support messages. They only receive the data necessary to operate their services.
We use industry-standard hosting and access controls. Because processing happens client-side, you should still avoid using the tool on untrusted devices.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will post the revised version here and update the date above.
